Thuraya at CeBIT in Hannover

Thuraya made a big showing at CeBIT this year, an event said to be the world’s leading fair for industry, automation and innovation, and the single largest computer expo.
The event held in Hannover, Germany from March 18 to 24, was an ideal venue for Thuraya to unveil its services. Thuraya’s Stand A05 in Hall 25, was housed in the telecommunications sector of exhibition, a hub of businesses specializing in telecommunications goods and services; network associated services; value-added services; sales promotion and telecommunications consulting; telematic services, and navigation systems. Thuraya’s stand was especially well-visited and attracted many queries from industry professionals, potential service providers, and members of the public.
CeBIT is a high profile exhibition that spotlights important issues facing the telecommunications and computer industry, while introducing new technologies in both fields. This year the telecommunications sector at the show covered a considerably larger area than in previous years, indicating the proliferation of products in telecommunications, and the advancement of the industry as a whole.
A total of 7500 exhibitors from 63 countries, representing the world of telecommunications and information technology displayed their wares at CeBIT this year.
