Oman Telecommunications Company (OMANTEL), Thuraya’s service provider in Oman, distributes Thuraya’s mobile satellite services including handsets and SIM cards in Oman. OMANTEL is the national telecommunications operator for the country, offering all telecommunication related services, including the Internet.

OMANTEL provides a vast array of amenities located within its growing services. OMANTEL’s fixed services include National, International, Telegraph, Jibreen Card, Telex, VSAT, ISDN, CPS, Bureau Fax, and Marine Radio. Since its inception in January 1997, Omantel Internet Service has grown from only 48 lines with 1 Mbps bandwidth to over 3000 lines with over 29 Mpbs bandwidth today. As an ISP, OMANTEL offers a wide range of services and different packages to suit all customers connection and domain needs.
