Thuraya’s services in Turkey are distributed by two service providers: Teknomobil and Mega Satellite Telecommunications Systems Ltd. Co.

As a Thuraya service provider Teknomobil distributes and markets Thuraya’s mobile satellite products and services throughout Turkey, including distribution of user terminals and SIM cards as well as provisions to oversee billing and customer care management.

Teknomobil is a private joint stock company and owned by Teknobil Inc. and Dedeman Holding. Teknobil is Fleet Management Systems’( FMS) service provider of Thuraya in more than 100 countries in the footprint of Thuraya. Teknobil services also include:

GPS based Vehicle Tracking and Fleet Management Systems,
GSM based Prepaid Metering Systems,
Intelligent BUS/BUS-Stop Integrated Systems,
LED/Electromechanical Information Display Systems,

Mega Satellite Telecommunications Systems Ltd. Co., part of the Gencler Group, is based in Ankara, Turkey. As a Thuraya service provider, Mega Satellite Telecommunications Systems Ltd. Co. distributes and markets Thuraya’s mobile satellite products and services throughout Turkey, including distribution of user terminals and SIM cards as well as provisions to oversee billing and customer care management.

The company meets all the criteria laid down by the TRA (national telecoms regulator) of Turkey and has been issued the license required for the sale and distribution of satellite communications equipment. These criteria include the employment of qualified technical and network infrastructure personnel, and are supported by experienced staff in sales and customer support.

Mega Satellite Telecommunications Systems Ltd. Co.’s approach is consultative and working closely with customers to ensure their communications needs are met.
