Thuraya Marine Postpaid Plan
Thuraya Marine Postpaid Plan is offered to subscribers who need communication services predominantly within Maritime Waters. This postpaid plan features call charges that do not change from one calling location to another.
Features
• Monthly subscription through your Service Provider
• One time activation fee + monthly fee
Requirements
• Subscriptions may require a deposit amount fixed by the Service Provider
• Certain documents may be required by the Service Provider
• A valid postal address is essential for your bills to be directed
Thuraya Marine Prepaid Plan
Thuraya Marine Prepaid Plan is offered to subscribers who need communication services predominantly within Maritime Waters. This prepaid plan features call charges that do not change from one calling location to another.
Features
• SIM pack includes US$10 worth of Free calls
• Receiving calls throughout the year in Thuraya’s coverage area, even without refilling the account
Account Validity
• Validity period is 1 year from the first call
• Account validity can be extended by paying the Annual Renewal Fee:
• Free: satellite usage > US$ 2500/year
• US$ 60: satellite usage > = US$ 120/year
• US$ 99: satellite usage < US$ 120/year
SIM Renewal
• Reminder messages are sent during the 15 days prior to account expiry date.
• if sufficient credit is available, the account can be renewed within these 15 days by calling 150 and selecting option 6.
• If sufficient credit is available on the last active date, the account is automatically renewed. The renewal is confirmed in a message.
• If account is not renewed as above grace period is granted. During this period the account will be automatically renewed if the subscriber refills the account with the required amount.
• The account is deactivated after the grace period.
