Thuraya On Mount Everest
Thuraya telephones have played a key role in our research project on Mount Everest.

Our project, sponsored by the National Space Biomedical research Institute, which reports to NASA, is aimed developing a system that could be used in space voyages to the moon and Mars that uses computer-implemented of a person’s speech to detect brain dysfunctions that degrade decision-making ability. Similar effects result from the low oxygen content of air high on Everest and from cosmic rays in outer space".
