Thuraya’s User Terminal Design Finalised

A joint meeting to finalize the design of Thuraya’s user terminals was in Abu Dhabi between Thuraya and its terminal manufactures Hughes Network Systems (HNS) and ASCOM of Switzerland.
The design specifications proposed by Thuraya and the manufacturers were finalised at a meeting attended by Thuraya’s Chief Executive Mr Yousuf Al Sayed and Mr. Hassan Azzee Acting Executive Manager Business Development.
Mr. Azzee described the terminal design : " The final product of Thuraya’s user terminals has been designed to be light in weight, compact in size and dimension and elegant in touch, feel and appearance. It has been specially designed to be the best offered so far for subscribers in mobile satellite market".
He added that Thuraya’s selection of two reputable terminal suppliers would offer subscribers a good choice between two quality products .
