Developed by Geonix, by simply registering with www.thurayalocate.com, you can use any Thuraya handset to acquire your GPS location. This information is then sent manually via SMS to the Thuraya Locate operations center. Authorized parties can then log on to the website with a username and password. Using a web browser, they can view your handset location using maps, satellite images and aerial photography made available via Google Maps or Windows Virtual Earth.
