Thuraya POP & Meet Me

Thuraya has established a POP for Thuraya IP services in Sharjah, UAE. The POP functions as a hub for terminating streaming IP calls via the internet, IPLC, MPLS and other platforms depending on customer requirements. POP also serves as a central hub in the infrastructure whereby leased lines to dedicated connections can be provisioned to the customer premises with high service quality.

Thuraya has also established a “Meet Me Point” in Telecity, London to enable media customers in and around Europe easier and reliable connectivity to the streaming IP services of Thuraya IP.
